If you reject the Theory of Gravity, you may be accused of denying downward acceleration. Gravity posits a mutual attraction of objects in proportion to their mass. This theory is pitifully demonstrated by violating numerous controls involving temperature and electrostatics (see Cavindish). The voltage between heaven and the earth, which is evidenced by lightning, provides a directionality for objects of appropriate density. The word “gravity” merely means weight.
If an apple fell on Newton's head then rolled into a pond and sat there floating, what becomes of his theory of gravity? Are helium balloons antigravity devices? The phenomena of electrostatics and buoyancy account for much, if not all, of the observations ascribed to “gravity”.
